Prairie Repertory Theatre
I was the Properties Designer for Prairie Repertory Theatre's Production of And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie in the Summer of 2024.
One of the biggest challenges I faced with this production was the figures of the soldiers. The director wanted something more abstract, akin to the 2015 BBC television production of And Then There Were None.
We originally planned on purchasing 3D-printed replicas online; however, we ran into some issues ordering them, which we did not find out about until we were a week from opening. So, I had to design, build, and paint ten different figures within a week.
My goal with these figures was to: mimic the abstract design of the BBC production with my own, personal twist; make them semi-recognizable to their place in the poem; make them durable enough to get thrown; and make them resemble brass figures to the audience.
